midnight

the bed shakes
the room trembles
and i quiver...
tears are streaming down my face
and the moans from the ghosts outside make me shake harder
my bed is sqeaking
my hair is stuck to the sweat
i cant scream for help
though inside my head im crying out
HELP ME O GOD PLEASE ! SAVE ME O GOD !
i hear the laughter and i try and pull my cover over my head
but the flesh eaten hand from underneath my bed clamps it tight
and im struggling to breathe even
my own room,my safe,my hide-away
has become unsafe
there's nowhere else to hide
you found me everywhere
you broke the spells i cast
you read my thoughts
you lingered in the pit of my stomach just...listening to my blood rush through my veins
i had no place of my own
i had no light to shine through the dark
i just had a blunt match useless...like my prayers now
my door swings open and the hinges fly off
i gasp
you look worse
your eyes are sunken into your face
your nose looks bony and pointish
your lips so thin and mis-shapen that your jaw line is confused with them
so pale
so white
you look worse than dead
you hear is scattered with dust
and your eyes glow red in the dark
the clock is ticking away madly
it must be midnight nearly
just a few more minutes of pain
you glide over to me
and grasp my throat
i can feel your bony fingers clenched around it
i struggle as hard as i can
but my vision is becoming blurred
im waiting for you to start it..
and as always
you reach into your pocket
and pull out that shiny blood stained dagger
you lick the end and run it past your nose
you smile smugly
and i wince
as i fell it penertrate my skin
my blood rushes past it and stain it the 6th time
im coming closer to the end
but it seems to long to wait...
i feel you let go
and i fall and forget this nights event...and dream of shapes and hands reaching and deadly fingers and blood patterns...
i wake up
my head cold with sweat
my stomach is soar
i unbutton my clothes
and i let out a voiceless scream
in blood stained letters
it has 'midnight'
