Dark Clouds

Topic: SadPoetry

Happiness
Everyone longs for it
most people have it
where has my happiness gone too
It has disapeared with the sun
The sun has disapeared in my life
Its brightness
Its happiness
has gone from my life
behind clouds of confusion
depression
gone down behind the hills
the hills of lonliness
and sorrow
the sun is not in my life anymore
the spark
that made my life mine
is now burnt out
like the sun
behind the clouds
of distant memories
the sun is replaced by dark clouds
of my tears and anger
replaced by dark clouds of depression
the dark clouds have replaced my happiness
have replaced me
have replaced my life
I only long for the sun now
I can never have it
I only see what was once there
I can never seem to grasp it
It gets pushed down by the dark clouds
the hills
and the rain and tears of my unhappiness
It has been too long since I have seen the sun
My happiness is long gone with it
dark clouds
have taken over
my happiness
my strength
dark clouds have taken over
me

do know if it helps but your not the only person to have felt these feelings, the only advice i can give to you is to fing something to make ur life better, whether it be an animal a person or just a reason.

I read this on a sticker recently, and a friend has been telling me for quite a while: Everything is okay in the end. If it's not okay, it's not the end. This is a great write. I have been there many times, and stuggle often to keep myself from sinking back in. My best advise is to use your words as an outlet for your soul. Know that nothing is so bad if something beautiful can come of it. Good luck in all that you do, and I look forward to a lot more work from you.
