Killing to No End
Be grateful
For what you've been given
It after all wasn't Heaven sent
The world gave it to you
And you take it for granted
The world is ending
As we know it
You take what's left for granted
Be grateful for the life you have
Not many have had it
Many died before they reached
The life that many keep
Your perspective isn't always right
But it's better than falling blind
No one can deny you your life
Unless you follow in line
Actions speak louder than words
But words are more believed
Than the actions you see
Taking in what you read
Thinking your life is Heaven sent
You believe the words
Written to persuade the living
The actions used to strengthen
Faith of the nonbelievers
I can tell you
What you want to hear
Do what you want to see
I can do everything
Just to get you to believe
A book tells us how to live
It isn't for the world of the living
It's too old to be understood
The interpretations abused
The Bible used against us
To get the faithful to fall
For the lies of yesterday
And to give the world
Something unfit to believe in
The world is ending
As is belief
Both fall
Because of the living
The world is ending
As is your belief
Your life is at an end
Because yesterday
Was here to stay
The words written
Were believed
Till the ending
You killed the world
With words
You killed the world
Forever
Killing to no end
One person
Can kill the world
What has commenced
Will be at an end
With every last one dead
The world is at an end

There is a scripture in the bible where Jesus says "The knowledge of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, not them so that the words of the prophet Isaiah might be true 'Though hearing they do not understand and though seeing they do not perceive or I would come and heal them'". I shared this so that you might possibly look at the book before you judge it. |

I completely agree with that comment. I bet that you haven't even tried to pick up The Book. (The Bible) Although it is hard to interpret....don't let that hold you back from reading it. They do make children's Bibles a lot easier to read...maybe you could start off with that considering you don't know a thing about it. |

I just think it is funny that you people assume that this person knows nothing about the Bible. I have to say that it is people like you that make me ashamed of the human race and if I get modded for this I couldn't really care.
Telling them they should read a children's Bible? What is that if not an insult? "It's a suggestion." Right, telling them they should start with a children's Bible is really a suggestion. Have you ever stopped to think that maybe this person has, in fact, and keep with me on this one, READ THE BIBLE?! Has it ever crossed your mind that they might have interpreted it and just STILL didn't like it? Is that so unheard of?? No? I DIDN'T THINK SO!
People like you two make me ashamed of the human race. Excuse me, I'm off to the Bible Burning a couple of my friends are holding in their backyard. |

Not sure what to say so I'll just state that I enjoyed this. I see no need in telling you to read the Bible since hopefully u have before u formed an opinion on it. Keep up the writing.
