You are so very scared, because your heart you have not shared
Since that one girl, took it and upside down went your world
Not knowing what she had in her hand, not realizing it was the heart of a man
Instead of caring she threw it in the dirt, so you shrank away from the hurt
But you need to know I'm not that girl, to me your love s like a precious pearl
I would never give you up, your a miracle from Heaven above
Your words mean so much to me, but somehow you fail to see
If it's time that you need, then I'll let you take the lead
Just let me know when you are ready, Until then my love will remain steady
I'm more than willing to wait, we'll just leave it up to fate
Then, when it's time for us to be together, maybe this time it will be forever

no need to sugar coat adriean, as i genuinely think it is a good poem. :)
