If I had a tear for every moment I thought about you I’d be drowning in my own mess. Id I shed a tear for every time I denied it, the world would be drowning in my tears.
I hate you and yet I love you. You make me sick and yet I can’t wait to be around you. You are my everything that I can’t stand and everything I want to be.
How is it I contradict myself? I never want to see you, yet how I miss your touch. I miss the way you would hold me through the night when monsters came out from under my bed.
You would take me places I had never been. You told me you loved me and you’d only be a moment away. Then how is it when my world came crashing down you never did stay. You turned your back whether intentional or not. You walked out of my life and left me hanging by myself. What did I do to make you not love me. And now this is how I feel. I love you, but God do I hate you.

Great job here.... well written.. I used to have these same feelings for a guy...long ago... I married him 25 years ago....:>) and the hate part has been long gone......
