Effervescent fields of snow
With white tipped peaks of gold
Blind even the strongest eyes
And hold footprints like a mold
The trees tell us centuries of secrets
As they whisper in the breeze
They're branches reach like fingertips
And prod into our lives
There's a dreary fox den by the brook
Been there a hundred years or more
Many generations of the glorious red fox
Have graced the ground they know
The sun shines down it's blazing rays
And heats the air below
Billowy fog rises up from the earth
And gives the sense of peace
Here is this place on the edge of the planet
Sadly on the brink of extinction
Pushed aside with the passing of time
To make room for the builders to build...

Very creative and your descriptions were beautiful. This is very sad and could very well happen. A good message for the world! |
