my faith lays behind...

Contributed by Hannah_Heaven on Monday, 12th July 2004 @ 04:14:35 PM in AEST
Topic: goodbyepoetry

ive got to go
to find my own shinning star
ive helped so many others
but no one is left to uplift me in my heart
my free spirit has blown away many pasts away...
and i have yet to find my faith
it layed behind
i forgot to pick it up
after i helped the sick on their way
is that a sin
to forget my own faith
by helping others find theirs?
i guess to help is a sin in itself
but the book
doesnt explain
its clear
but so clear i cant help but see right through
im lost
in the day
and at the night im hiding
i feel like theres nobody left in this world
an agony aunt
a guardian
a 'parent'
kisses fall from my face
as they are ment for healing power
they sting and burn
and tears roll down
and leak through my skin like acid
my emotions are all confused
i need someone,anyone
to help me find the real ME
and as my faith floats on the breeze
lifting the hearts of others...
i fall and i lay
in my shadow of loneliness
still forgiving and helping as my faith dies within...

When I feel like you do that is when i need to remember the story of the lost son. If I can help you with any thing let me know.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
