You know you've got a problem,
When you look in a mirror and hate the person who appears,
You know your going down hill,
When you always down a few beers when all you wanna do is cry a couple tears,
You know your worlds wrong,
When your start dragging everyone down with you,
You know it needs to end,
When you don't know who your lying next to.
You know you've got to stop,
When you don't have anyone left with you,
You know you've got to stop,
When you don't know where you got your new tatoo,
You know you've got to stop,
When you don't know why your waking up in jail,
You know you've got to stop,
When you think some food might go good with your ale.
You know you've got a problem,
When your everything you once hated,
You know your going downhill,
When you can't remember the last time you weren't sedated,
You know your worlds wrong,
When you don't know the answer to the question "what's your name?",
You know it needs to end,
When you can't remember when you weren't ashamed.
You know you've got to stop,
When you get pulled over,
You know you've got to stop,
When you justify never being sober,
You know you've got to stop,
When your seventeen and have an illegal addiction,
You know you need to stop,
When you can't count your convictions.
You know you've got a problem,
When you can't remember when someone said they loved you,
You know your going downhill,
When even you don't love you,
You your worlds wrong,
When you've lost your job,
You know it needs to end,
When you drink so much your head never throbs.
I know I've gotta stop,
When someone else tells me what I've been thinking
I know I've gotta stop,
When they tell I need to quit drinking
I know I've gotta stop,
When my girlfriend dumps me
I know I've gotta stop,
Everytime I fall to my knees.
I know I've got a problem,
Because I want to kill that person in my mirror,
I know I'm going downhill,
When it's myself I fear,
I know my worlds wrong,
When I can no longer say no,
I know it needs to end,
When I wanna throw myself of the nearest plateau.
I know I've gotta stop,
Because no one seems to care,
I know I've gotta stop,
Because now I am aware,
I know I've gotta stop,
Even though it took me years,
I know I've gotta stop,
And no longer say cheers.
