selfstruggles

They alledge,
while I assert.
What's true they hedge,
'cause truth can hurt.
Plans they've made,
with folks they know.
So truth they trade,
for status quo.
So come on in.
Lets make a deal.
Set the terms.
Affix the seal.
Sign and date.
Note time and place.
The deal is struck!
Quick! Hide your face.

You're still smarting from having to deal with a used car salesman, right?
I always feel like I've been raped after dealing with car salesmen, (new or used). They're all a bunch of lying bastards.

Unfortunately, Stoney1 doesn't know anything about you or your background, R&R, and so pokes fun with innocence. But anyways . . .
Welcome back - I hope that from the sombre tone of this poem that your legal issues have not turned against you . . ? If they have, you know you'll always have a responsive audience to vent at here - its free and always open, unlike modern justice systems . . .
Excellent work, as always. Hope you're around for a while . . . |
