In the Mirror

Topic: DarkPoetry

There’s an empty space I’ve had troubles filling
Every night I sit and wait and extra hour
Time spent only hoping for your call
And again bitten sour

Have you forgotten me?
Yes, I’m still here
Only waiting for you to see me
Look through the same glass
In the mirror I thought you’d be

We grew together, we can grow apart
These separate worlds are splitting us in two
Don’t deny the truth, you always knew
Turn around and look inside my reflective world
Trapped again without life, without love
Without you

Have you forgotten me?
Yes, I’m still here
Only waiting for you to see me
Look through the same glass
In the mirror I thought you’d be

You look into me like you don’t see a thing
But I can see you, on the other side
We knew this day would come, but why so few
I cant hold on anymore
Trapped again without life, without love
Without you

Have you forgotten me?
Yes, I’m still here
Only waiting for you to see me
Look through the same glass
In the mirror I thought you’d be

In the mirror
You can’t see
In the mirror

Sorry to hear about the pain but you've managed to channel it into an awesome piece of poetry.
