Delicate Walls

Topic: oops

Delicate Walls

These walls that hold me up
Are fragile figments of my
Imagination.
So weak I depend and lean on them,
They are my salvation.
Cradle me on nights when vulnerability
Sneaks upon me.
Calm the wrath of the ocean that
Lives on silently.
These walls that hold me together
Are ones that easily fall apart
A crystal partition that is oh so
Weak to my heart.
My tears can fumble down my
Protectors,
But too much can drown me into
Silent pain.
As they slide their way down,
They gleam, yet, light of hope,
Oh, my precious rain.
Breathe hope and love into me,
But be careful with my walls,
Sing faith to my soul,
But be careful I might fall.
Fall.
Into my own barrier.
Shattering pieces on the floor of my
Soul.
And as these dividers fall,
Like defeated soldiers in a battle,
All of me will show.
Is this for good or for bad,
I myself don’t know.
Am I ready for everything living
Inside me to just….

…Let Go?
