Strolling along the Beach

Contributed by Gentledove on Sunday, 11th July 2004 @ 06:54:31 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Holding hands with my best freind as we stroll along the beach,
We talk of all our hopes and dreams, some seem out of reach.
The waves are pounding, surf is up, the sun is setting low,
Out beyond the horizon, the ocean is set aglow.
Seagulls flying up above, searching for their dinner,
Seashells lying on the beach, the sand is all aglitter.
A gentle breeze to ruffle our hair and set our hearts aflutter,
For the beauty that surrounds us, there are no words to utter.
As the day turns into night and the stars begin to twinkle,
The man in the moon sings a blissful tune,
As we sit on the beach and snuggle.

A delightful day and way to spend in the company of the one you love. The perfect setting for romance.

Ahhhhhhhhhto be in love again....especially on the beach where you can reach and touch the shells and seagulls. Marvelous stroll you took me on......and I remember a time in Virigina Beach long years ago........when I felt the exact way........my loving husband I looked for crabs.......tiny little fellows......delicious to eat!

What a gorgeous picture, a beautiful moment, and a lovely write! I am completely jealous - but - very happy for the two of you. You have such a delightful way of expressing your feelings for one another... we're all so lucky to get a glimpse of your lives together.

Searching the shoreline for shells AND love,
SNM

I can feel the sand in between my toes and the warm sunshine on my face....*looks around and realizes she's dreaming*....aww darn! That's what happens when you write a poem like that. A job VERY well done, you deserve every one of these comments! I would love to still be dreaming right now....think I'll go back and read it again. : )

Many Many Blessings
Love, Jenna
