why would you go there,just to sit and stare at some stone?
why not leave well enough alone?
this is a place where we give back what we have borrowed,
a place so full of sorrow.
you ask a question and expect a yes?
you cant bring them back,
cut yourself some slack,
so as you leave just smile and bow,for this is just a trial but not for any crimes but to see how we can deal with lifes little times,go home and get some sleep,be your best dont act like a creep,and treat everyone like you want to be....because someday you will be the one under the cemetary trees.

Slightly confusing in th latter parts - you may need some greater punctuation on the final two lines, but I appreciate the overall message.
I especially like this sentiment;
"this is a place where we give back what we have borrowed,
a place so full of sorrow."
Its a very good thought. |
