Lifepoems

the rains howling at my window
plummeting the roof
its times like this
I don’t feel so confused
I know where I am
and who I wanna be
I know its not true
but I can convince myself
life’s easy
lying in my bed
it all makes sense in my head
it doesn’t matter anymore
people don’t know what goes on
behind closed doors
I feel the knives in my back
but there only words
so I’m going to relax
I’m really not going to care
because its not my fault
things are to misleading to share
so you live in your world
and leave me to mine
because I’ve come to the conclusion
people are a waste of time

i think this poem would sound quite good as a song- a very good effort love the opening line; 'the rains howling at my window' |
