Ten minutes after breakfast we strode up a hill
Through a forest of green and brown
Past a biker on his way down
Sometimes we skipped whole the way
Sometimes just walking felt ok
The best was holding your hand as we reached the gate
We watched the world from this tall height
I wished we went up there more
I miss those moments of feeling so sure
Of feeling complete feeling everything
The air gushing up my nose
The moments are forever attached in my sorrow
On the way downhill everywhere was pink and velvet
We could hear the sea splashing towards us
The moon pinned to the sky lineless
