Unwanted Changes

Contributed by bit0kuntry on Sunday, 11th July 2004 @ 04:21:10 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

I gaze at my life through a crystal shell, almost as if looking into anothers dream.

Came from nothing, asked for nothing, and got nothing in return it seems.

Happy with the choices Ive made, whether they were right or wrong.

Needing to find that special place, where everyone feels they belong.

Wanting, praying, and even wishing upon the stars as if they were to answer my prayer

Wondering if he above was ever really there.

Knowing that the question was so against belief, but yearning for a guiding hand.

Anything just a little help through my walk on this mystical land.

Then one day the help came and flowing in on me. Hit me hard, knocked me down and was just more misery.

Awake he did ask......have you been asleep all these years. I have given and provided it was you who turned it into tears.

Your life I layed upon you, to make with what you would. In the winter when you were cold it was me who provided the wood.

It is you that must gather, and get prepared for the different ranges, for everything is special even unwanted changes.

This is an awesome poem despite who ever it was that gave it such a low rating.

Find your own road and do what you think is right that is what makes you a person. Make the changes in your life that you want not those that will suit others, then there will be no bitterness.

Loved this line--> "Happy with the choices Ive made, whether they were right or wrong."

Keep them coming...good work..

Fate brings us to the crossroads, from there we are on our own to choose which path to take. But we are never alone.

Beautiful poem, thank you for sharing.
