The One

Contributed by Adriean on Saturday, 10th July 2004 @ 04:00:43 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

The teachers are teaching away, but I don't hear a word they say
My mind is busy thinking of you, and when yousaid you love me too
My heart soared when you said those words, my soul felt as free as a bird
When I thought everything was perfect, everything was grand
That's when you took my breath away by putting that ring on my hand
My stomache started tumbling, thats when my mind started stumbling
I had no idea what I was to do, so I said to my heart I will be true
That's when I said yes to you
You are my soulmate, my one true love, it seems you were sent from heaven above
You forever have my heart, and neveragain shall we be apart

Very nice poem. I've written three about my soul mate. She's wonderful too.
God bless
