MENTALLY ILL

Contributed by randyjohnson on Saturday, 10th July 2004 @ 08:14:17 AM in AEST
Topic: toughstuff

Yes it's true I'm mentally ill.
My doctor has put me on pills.
My Schizophrenia is a fact.
Because of hallucinations and delusions, I'm on seroquel and prozac.
This isn't my fault, I was born this way.
I'd like to be shed of my illness but it's here to stay.
For the rest of my life, this is what I will be forced to endure.
Schizophrenia can be treated but it can't be cured.
I hope mental illness isn't something you're going through.
It's not easy being in my shoes.

Randy, please stay on your prescibed plan of action. If allowed to get out of control it is hard to regain a solid footing. I have suffered from severe depression for years since a lengthy illness. I have found I cannot do it without the medication and I will be on it forever. It is a fact of life and we have to live with it. Take the medicine and be thankful there is some control because years ago they would have just locked us up until we died. Best of luck to you.

Rita

It can be cured, Randy... It can... I've seen it with my own eyes, I'm the one who cured it. Randy, love and happiness is the cure for anything, even cancer... a guy with cancer who found happiness in his life was not found with a single trace 6 months after he was diagnosed. Seriously Randy, if you open up your mind, life is great.

Keep it strong, my friend.

Cheers,
-xXRayeXx
