My Love Of Spring

I remember with intimate joy
Passion's lust-filled thoughts
That burst forth into new life,
When viewing a flower, so moist,
With just a hint of spring's dew.
Buds opened as vibrant blossoms,
Inviting immediate attention,
Craving the deepest penetration.
An evolution so very compelling,
It enters the swollen, lush flower.
Love comes in soft, generous petals,
As spring's first rain of sweet nectar
Slowly opens to multiple blossoms,
Transcending any other spring
This flower has ever known.
