Our Differences

Contributed by steven on Friday, 9th July 2004 @ 01:08:57 PM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

My whole life’s been changed
Since you came in
Should have known back then

How it wouldn’t last
Even now I hurt
So much time has passed

You just left my soul to die
To drown in the tears
That I have cried

You’ve opened me
Left me exposed
And I’m cryin now
And I can’t stop
It burns so much
I can’t stop it
Why couldn’t we
Just work it out?

I just cant imagine
Living without you
Especially
When im alone
All the nights I spent
Just worrying
I just wish you’d come home

This was our song
But its different now
Just like us
It has changed
Theres nothing left
In my soul
Theres no one left to blame

My whole life’s been changed
Since you came in
Should have known back then

How it wouldn’t last
Even now I hurt
So much time has passed

How could you just leave?
Drowning in my tears
I can no longer breathe

I've been there more times than I'd want to count.
Hang tuff as life has a way of fixing itself.
Very well written.
huggs, faith, hope, peace,
emy

This reminds me of a song I wrote in my journal called "If I had a chance to fall in love "
