I wanted you to know
For you to understand why I cant be free
Without me ever having to say a word
I wanted you to know you did this to me
And I will sing my song of sorrow while pushing you all away
You mould me, bend me, shape me into who I am today
I will sing my song of sorrow, ducking and hiding from view
You mould me, bend me, and shape me so that I am just like you
I wanted you to know
So that maybe you’ll finally see
That it isn’t enough to just say “you hurt me”
But enough to say “you never loved me”
And I will sing my song of sorrow, a layer of hatred surrounding me
You mould me, bend me, shape me, you did this to me
I will sing my song of sorrow, until it becomes an anthem of hate
You mould me, bend me, shape me, only love appeared too late
I wanted you to know
I’ve been hurting him everyday
I know it’s my fault and not yours
But you moulded me to be this way
And I will sing my song of sorrow, until my voice is gone
You can mould me, bend me, shape me. But I know I really won.
I will sing my song of sorrow, slowly losing faith in love
Mould me, bend me, shape me, but you know I’ll never be enough
I wanted you to know
I wanted him with every ounce of passion I possess
But I pushed him away just as you pushed me
And here lays a bloody mess
I will sing my song of sorrow, until I feel no pain
You can mould me, bend me, shape me, just please don’t let me hurt him again
