Voice of your heart

Contributed by Chicken on Thursday, 24th October 2002 @ 01:15:00 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

It may not be the wisest thing to do
Sometimes over your brain your heart must rule.
If you think that it is cruel
It's only you that has been fooled.
Because in this maze we call life
One must try to open their eyes.
They must release the love trapped inside
Or surely their soul will shrivel and die.
So please, please listen to your heart
And let love have it's start.
Be sure that love will never depart,
If you follow the voice of your heart.

what drew2 didn't mention is that we are arguing over true love comes from the heart, or if it is worked out over time, and really is a decision to love someone regardless, and how, sometimes it's wise to ignore your heart's voice... and pay attention to common sense...

You know that I think that this is a wonderful write... have you checked your email yet? You already have a reply... in rhyme...
