Suddenly my dear sir came,
Late again, my heart’s aflame.
“Are you mad?” my dear sir asked,
“Why didn’t you come?” my anger I masked.
As I figured, because of friends.
Minutes later, my heart mends,
But after my harsh words were spoken,
The spell of anger soon was broken.
“I’m so sorry,” said my man,
“Could you forgive me?” “Yes I can.”
It is so hard not to forgive him,
Even thought it’s not my whim.
And so we made up,
Without a break-up,
Both happier than before,
Could anyone ask for more?
