Your voice travels the line full of laughter and sun,
You tell me sweetly how you've spent so much time having fun,
Basking on the beach and taking long walks through the woods,
I hope your time spent in Hawaii is consumed with all things good,
Because when you come home, I plan to make you hurt,
For leaving me behind, I will push you in the dirt,
I will turn off all the lights and tell you scary tales,
I will lower my voice and fake scary wails,
I will do all the things that annoy you just to make you see,
You were on the beach and having fun without me,
I will call you up early, early in the day,
I will torture you,I promise, in my own special way,
I promise, lots of pain, and some agony too,
I promise my friend that this trip will be the death of you,
Ok,Ok, really, I'm glad you're having fun,
I'm glad your out exploring, getting lots of sun,
I'm glad you're seeing things that most don't get to see,
I'm especially glad that you finally decided to call me,
I'm truely glad that you decided not to stay,
But, don't forget to bring me back a lei,
Yes, I miss you dearly, and can't wait for you to come back,
Until then my friend, my days are really black,
