Falling Again

The sun went down today, just like
Any other, except you’re not here,
So why do I even bother?
Then I remember how good it felt
To hear your laughter; not a night
Went by and I didn’t think of
You the morning after. I remember
Your tears, and how you hid your heart in
Shadows, when a boy came and
Went, like a lost baseball over the fence.
I remember your smile, working the
Crowd so elegantly, and how it
Made everything better when
It landed on me. These days,
When I see you every now and
Then, it’s like I fall in love
All over again.

This is the type of poem every woman would adore.
It is my favorite I think by you. It is excellent.
