Nell's Whorehouse

Contributed by tomt102444 on Thursday, 8th July 2004 @ 07:27:34 PM in AEST
Topic: HumorPoetry

Damn! They shut Nell’s Whorehouse down, it was on 5th Street and Pine.
We used to ride in once a year and had one helluva good time.

It cost me neigh’ on one month’s pay to gamble and to whore,
But I had a lot of fun each time so what they close it for?

We never bothered no one much and the girls were all real sweet.
They weren’t that much to look at but for cowpokes, what a treat.

When all you’d seen for months on end was the back-end of some steer
Us fellas t’weren’t that fussy when it come to a whore’s derriere.

But since they closed Nell’s Whorehouse down we’ll try to recreate.
We’ll drink ourselves to smithereens to dull our urge to fornicate.

We’ll gamble ‘til it’s late at night as cowboys often do.
We’ll fight and shoot our forty-fives and act-up like a fool.

Then maybe city fathers will sense there’s something wrong,
And open up Nell’s Whorehouse to admit this rowdy throng.

The cowboys will be happy then sing songs in monotone,
‘Bout the painted gals of Nell’s Whorehouse in the town called San Antone.

This is hilarious. We have Texas whores in the poetry section today and Russian whores in the forum. We have apparently gone international today. LOLOLOL

Haven't been in a whorehouse since my navy days, but your poem
brings back a lot of fond memories. I remember the most unique
house we ever partied in was after going through the Panama Canal;
there was a little port on the Pacific side where they had a house with
an international flavor. The prices were quite reasonable at the time.
You could have a girl for "short time" for only seven dollars American.
Being a particularly horny little bugger, I sampled most of the
nationalities. I was like a kid in a candy shop!

Hope San Antone wises up. No young fella's education would be
complete without a trip to the local whorehouse.

Liked your poem, by the way.*g*
