What is cool?
Is it popularity?
If it is
Then why do we care about cool?
You leave school and it’s gone forever

What is a friend?
Is it someone you can trust?
If it is
Then why do we care about friends?
They stab you in the back and it’s over

What is fun?
Is it disobeying the rules and getting away with it?
If it is
Then why do we care about fun?
After you get caught you can have no more fun

What is love?
Is it everlasting compassion?
If it is
Then I know why I care about love
It goes on forever

Please report poetry and or comments that are in breach of our site rules HERE (Please include poem title or url). Parents also please ensure that you supervise your children well when they are on the internet; regardless of what a site says about being, or being considered, child-safe.
