My Dearest Lady,
Every day I see you,
I am even more stunned
Hard for me to believe,
that one so young,
Has done the things you've done.
Every day I see you,
You seem to have grown,
Another new talent.
You've kept hidden,
Or I've just never known.
Others would be jealous
Of all that you can do.
Men or women
would be stunned,
If they only knew.
You wear the bruises
Of your life with a smile,
And I hope you know,
Deep in your heart
I'm with you all the while.
