You went back yesterday to that place that you call home
I really wish you wouldn't go and leave me all alone
I miss you so much when you are away
But i guess that is the Army that keeps you at bay
I admire you for what you do
Fighting for our country and what you believe is true
I know one day it'll pay off
But at the minute it's really tough
I love you so much i cannot begin to say
But when you come home i'll be with you every day
