Remembering Never

Contributed by TorturaInsomniae on Thursday, 8th July 2004 @ 02:38:22 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

years have passed since the last time
but now i sit and yearn
yearn for my escape
empty halls and no ones home
i sit and cry
tears running down my face
thoughts running through my mind
why cant i go away?
in my room my escape awaits me
i shouldnt go, i shouldnt go
but the pain is so much stronger
walking through the hall
how it seems to suddenly have no end
so dark and so silent
i make my way; stumbling
touching it brings relief
cold but comforting as i remember it
i slowly put the blade to my skin

close my eyes and go away
