Starlight, Starbright, One bullet, and a Flashing Light

Contributed by 2ndChance on Wednesday, 7th July 2004 @ 07:32:32 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

Starlight, starbright,
first star I see tonight.
I wish I may,
I wish I might,
Have the wish I wish tonight.

Starlight, starbright,
bring me my charming knight.
To hold me close,
make it alright,
Please bring me my charming knight.

Starlight, starbright,
protect me once, from this fight.
He hurts me so,
the lies recite,
Protect me once, from this fight.

Starlight, starbright,
make my heart, turn out right.
Left all alone,
no strength nor might,
Make my heart, turn out right.

Starlight, starbright,
one bullet, and a flashing light.
A silver trigger,
with hope in sight,
One bullet, and a flashing light.

Starlight, starbright,
first star I see tonight.
I wish I may,
I wish I might,
Have the wish I wish tonight.

A very emotional twist on a classic, well done, nice originality. I have to say, I can appreciate the adult version of this, and understand where you must be in mind and heart. I hope all will end well. Remember, only keeping yourself alive, will keep hopes and dreams living as well. Time heals and/or makes changes if you just believe enough and have patience. I am living proof....
