As summer ends and autumn falls,
both worlds open and release.
Those who were loved linger still,
Loved animals and those who remain
join me this night.
Darkened forests and misty nights,
birth now new and death long past,
I will this tale to come untold.
Falling to the ground, leaves spiral and drift
Spirits and my Lady, come to guide my helping path, be swift!
I listen to the Goddess' wise voice, knowing that I must do what is right.
