Shoes?

Contributed by Mick_Puttock on Wednesday, 7th July 2004 @ 03:50:21 PM in AEST
Topic: HumorPoetry

After going bare footed for the last 20 years
it was time to change and forget the fears
so out I went and bought some shoes
but now, oh no, here comes the blues
they come without instructions to wear
with funny looking strings up on the front there
and pray tell, for I've had a look quick
where do I find the "turn it on" switch
I thought they would help me and walk on their own
maybe it's my money, that I have just blown.

Lmao!!! Maybe you can get rid of those 'thongs' now"..lol..

Ok..Ok....here are the instructions---->

Take the string from the left side shoe...
Tie it in a knot to the right side too...
Make sure it's all nice and tight
Then you'll be able to walk all night... :>)

Be sure to follow them to the T

(((((((hugs))))))))

I thought your poem was so cute and filled with laughter.

All I could think of was days of childhood and loving the feel of oozing mud between my toes until it was so thick I couldn't keep my balance.

Now I have the opposite problem, I simply can't get enough of shoes.

It was nice to see you posting.

One waits for the day when they invent shoes that walk for you, for then my dream of never even having to walk anywhere but still get where im going will be done lol
