Smile

Smile
Go ahead
I dare you
put on your show
of false happiness
fool the world
with
your pleasing manner
Go ahead
prove to them
that your happy
but you know your not
What have you got to hide
except the scars on your wrists
and the tears in your eyes
SHOW THEM!
they'll see
you just keep telling yourself
but you know they won't
they'll look over the tears..
the tears of distress
that they mistake
for tears of joy
They'll never see
what you show them
so long as you paint on
that winning smile
you will fool the world
But is it enough?
Is it truly?
You'll never know
because you are fooling yourself
neglecting yourself
mistaking the nesescities of life
for the things
that will bring you down
But listen to me rambling
you'll NEVER listen to me!
Because....
I am you and you are me
we are one in the same
and we'll never listen!
Not even to ourself.....

I like the way you accented the words showing passion and anger then resolved it all in a show of humility and love , interesting and a plceasure 2 have read.
