blood sucker
you drain the happiness from me
steal the light from my eyes
leech the joy from my life
and the shine from my dreams
you make my smile disappear
but there is no magic involved
I am emptied as you feed,
soul stealer

We had a way of dealing with thieves in the navy. If they were caught, regardless of the punishment meted out by the Articles of War at Captain's Table; if the thief was stealing from his shipmates, he would likely be prone to 'tripping' over a hatch combing and falling down a ladder.
