Alive?
How so
I see them stare
Looking into my eyes
A snake and my reflection too
Tiny red droplets of life fly around the room painting
My blood
Leaves stains
Upon the walls
Life is fleeting from me
Thinner as the color fades
Slowly disappearing into the void left behind
I listen
Snake tells me
Of all that could have been
But the blood around me shows me that
These things happen when I feel like I am nothing
Can't
say
I see
My image
Looking back at me now
I'm not ashamed of dieing here
I know now that this was just a dream to begin with
