Simple Things

Contributed by Silent-No-More on Wednesday, 7th July 2004 @ 01:36:17 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Things, so very simple and small
Can carry me away, make me fall
Like one more day, never mind years
Or one more beautiful, gentle tear

Things so simple,
Seemingly small
I wouldn’t dare
Ask for it all

I need the simple, smallish stuff
To hold your hand would be enough
A moment to glance into your eyes
To see the soul that therein lies

Simply - just one
Tiny memory more
And I swear
I’ll be forever yours

I want a little, tiny thing
To read the words you used to bring
For a sentence, I’ll forego the rest
Just tell me that you love me best

Beautiful SNM.
I think its the small things that count.

"Things, so very simple and small

Like one more day, never mind years
Or one more beautiful, gentle tear"

Perfect. *hugs* Phil xxx

'The smallest things bring the biggest smiles'
A wonderful and beautiful aura this gives, one that many will remember for weeks and months and years to come

I know myself that the aura this gives off will be remembered by me for eternity and them some

Also might i comment on the excellent structure and overall polish your style has in this write, draws the reader in and keeps them enwrapped in your every reflection

Beautiful

Luke

It takes the little things to complete the big picture. You have style, structure and artistic perfection wrapped in a small package here. Wonderful write.

Hugs,
Rita

I know this feeling...desperation...sadness...longing. This is heart wrenching. Words are so seductive. A very effective write.

This is...so simple yet so profound. It gets right to the point yet speaks volumes about you.
Did you get what you wanted?
