The shadows grow longer,
you're not here.
Purple sky turns to black
and still I wait.
I knew you wouldn't come,
but I had some hope,
a small flame the color of your eyes.
I'll never leave,
but you'll never come.
I'll wait forever if I have to.
I know you love me,
but I wanted to see you one last time
so maybe you could tell me.

| amazing poem! I can totally relate to it! I know he loved me, but Im still waiting for him to admit it, and admit that he was wrong about everything and apologize for the things that he did.Check out my writing sometime and let me know what you think! |
