Strangling sweetness

Topic: AngryPoetry

I am kind & very sweet
The nicest girl you’ll ever meet

To some this means I like nothing bad
Am always polite & never mad

To these I must laugh & say
What have you been smoking anyway?

Can’t like skulls or things that are fun
Can’t have an opinion about anything or one

To have manors you must be dull, obedient, inane
Who came up with this ****, are you all insane

Being sweet doesn’t mean you’re not strong
Let me speak before you tell me I’m wrong

You think I’m quiet cause I’m held back by fear
But when I have something to say, trust me
you’ll all hear

When I am pushed I will push back
Just cause I’m nice doesn’t mean courage I lack

I can stand up for myself all on my own
So enough with the “aw sweetie” & the ******* baby tone.

some of this was hilarious. excellent write. many people overstep their boundries into others lives and assume too much. you know better than to become like them.

Ha! *thumbs her noses at all them people with you*

I love this! And I'm glad you came to this breaking point now, because now nobody can push you into silence.
