Dedicated

Contributed by _Raspberry_ on Tuesday, 6th July 2004 @ 03:01:45 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

I hope you know how we miss you, friend
The words of Wisdom only you could lend
They say only the good die young
A hero still left unsung
Taken from the world before your time
Three young men still in their prime

Richard,
You were so wise and strong
A shelter for all that didn't belong
But a drunken mistake stole you away....

Brandon,(Duckie)
I'm sure you know you are a legend
Immortal in your trip to heaven
No one knew you, but wish they did
But when God took you, you were still a kid
I know it was meant to be that way, nothing that anyone could have changed....

Jimmy,
A smile from across the room
A love for all one could assume
So much more in store for you
I hope your happy where He took you to
Your life was worth so much more than a five dollar bill....

Bad things happen in three's
But it was only bad for me
I know your in a better place
No more of this everyday chase

A tattoo that says dedicated
With ink of love it will be shaded
Know that it is there for you
As you dwell in thrones of blue

My chest grows tight reading your poem. I'm so sorry about your friends and it must have been so hard on you.
That was a wonderful poem, and i believe your friends would think so too.

I'm sorry that you lost three friends last year, its so hard just to lose one, and to lose three has got to feel horrible.
Your poem is beautiful! It brought tears to my eyes!

What a tragic thing to have to happen in such a short span of time. Your write was a nice tribute to your friends.

How wonderful that you could reach deep inside yourself for these words. I believe that they were with when this poem was writen. It has way to much heart for them to not have been. You now have three guardian angels.
Remember to talk to them... Keep them alive and they'll walk with you. They'll stand with you ~ to lend you strength ~ lead you when your lost. I believe...

J~

I'm so sorry for your friends and their ends. But their ends were just the beginning of an eternity of adventure beyond the golden gates of heaven. As all is well, I hope. I have to say this was a great write.

I know how it is to lose friends like that. This was a good dedication to them.
