The Cut

Contributed by darkfairy1188 on Tuesday, 6th July 2004 @ 10:54:20 AM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

I see my blood spill over the ledge
And yet I feel no pain.
The cut’s ragged edge
Is painted red.
I just hope I’ll end up dead.
Maybe then they’ll care.
Maybe it’ll give ’em a scare.
These people.
They’re supposed to be my friends.
They don’t even know me.
They don’t even know how I want my life to end.
What would happen if they found out?
Would they cry?
Would they be mad?
Or would just tell me I’m being a drama queen?
They’d never understand why im always so sad.
They think im so mean.
I’ll show them.
I’ll put an end to this;
With the dagger held in my fist.
I see my blood spill over the ledge
And yet I feel no pain.
The cut’s ragged edge
Is painted red.
I just hope I’ll end up dead.

I was once at the point of commiting suicide and wondered how everyone would think of me after, but then i realised that i wouldn't know how they reacted after i died as i would already be dead so really it was pointless doing it just to prove a point and that i would spent eternity without ever knowing what they did. Suicide isn't the answer in the end, so please just try to bear with life who knows what will happen tommorow.

I love you so much! I would cry if you died and I'd die on the inside if you died. I love you SO much and you are one of the most important people in my whole entire life! You've pulled me through so many times and I wish I could do the same for you. It hurts me so much to see you hurting. The hell with what all those other people think of you anyways. There are so many people that love you! I love you!
Katie
