Is There Someone Out There?

Contributed by Coquillion on Tuesday, 6th July 2004 @ 10:20:05 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Is there someone out there that feels the way I do?
Someone who’s seen the dark and faced the demons too?
Is there someone out there that knows the things I see are real?
Someone with compassion that feels the way I feel?
Is there someone out there who’s stood at the edge and can understand?
Someone who knows the way back home – who can lead me by hand?
Is there someone out there who can make this nightmare end?
Someone to protect me – someone to be my friend?

I have seen so much of the dark, and have had the pleasure of finding the light. Some of my darker poems speak of the journey as my lighter ones have the revelation of finding the light. One thing I DO know, is you're not alone. PM me sometime, we'll share stories.
