I seek safety in moonlight, as darkness tries to wrap me up too tight, at night.
At night, I seek safety in moonlight, as stars try to confuse my sight, at night.

I seek safety in moonlight, 'cause sometimes trains carry old rains my fake sunshine once erased, so I seek safety in moonlight... 'cause sometimes tears bring up old fears that even brave souls have not faced.

So I seek I safety in moonlight, 'cause when there's sun it's just no fun to cry a bit and be afraid. I seek safety in moonlight, 'cause all fools know when Moon does glow all your sorrows will just fade.

I seek safety in moonlight, as darkness tries to wrap me up too tight, at night.
At night, I seek safety in moonlight, as stars try to confuse my sight, at night.
At night... I seek safety in moonlight.
