When I am down
and sometimes blue,
He's always near
to help me through.
He makes me laugh,
he makes me cry.
He has such wit,
he has such wry.
Not a day goes by
that we do not speak.
10 times a day,
100 times a week.
What would I do
if he were not here?
I would miss his words
and shed a tear.
So please don't take away your love,
your kindness or your loving touch.
Be there forever in my heart,
as you have been from the start.
Who is this man ?
I hear you say.
My best friend
Come what may!!
