I watch a little bunny
nibbling on a blade of grass
Such a sweet little bunny
And what pretty fur it has
I watch a little bunny
Hopping across my property
Such a sweet little bunny
I wonder if it is a he or she
I watch a little bunny
Just doing what bunnies do
Nibbling and chewing
And just being so darn cute
I walk up to the little bunny
And toss a carrot for it to eat
But the bunny is afraid of me
And runs and hops across the street
I watch the little bunny
Running across the street
That is where the bunny
Unfortunately got to meet
My neighbor's brand new SUV
Poor, dead, little bunny
I shall forever cherish your memory
As I shovel your tire-marked body
Which is a lot flatter
than it use to be
Rest in Peace little bunny
Rest in Peace

I was thinking maybe a disclaimer was needed for the first bunnies, * ( no bunnies were actually harmed during the writing of this text ) but I'm beginning to wonder ....
