Peregrine and Pandora

Contributed by maxbiaggi on Monday, 5th July 2004 @ 07:00:34 PM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

Everlasting always changing, they roam the world of men
His last refuge and His shadow banked into her box
with contents which destroyed his will.
And tonight we'll mold our hearts within the flame
in silhoettes of solecism, this is forever.

His trust lies within those who choose hope,
dismay lies deep within the roots of others
who all rape all serenity in perfect harmony.

And the other could never be settled in time,
wandering instead spreading their plagues
to each man who chose not to listen or to see.

With fire stolen hot from the heavens, they stood.
They burned the tao down with pilfered blaze
and sealed the fate of men shut.

We are the blade that entered the hand,
they are the blood that wept for our follies.
We made this pact in blood, we made this pact.
But we never understood

Together they wept for amenity lost
bearing an empty box with no poison,
the chest was as empty as one in every man.

certainly complex, the redundant 'all' in the second stanza could be revised. I like a lot of your word choices though,( Pilfered, poison, blood, hope, heavens, fire ...strong antithetical images ) It dosn't grab me and shake me, but it does shake my hand.
