Poet’s Block

Everything seems dry,
it feels as if my brain is been deep-fried.
Words just don’t seem to flow,
it seems I have hit an all time low.
The days just seem too long,
the nights seem to go on and on.
Why is the unspoken word eluding me?
Why is the unseen but heart felt emotion just pass by me?
Day by Day as I grow older,
words fail to support me,
I can feel the pressure on my shoulders.
It’s said patience is rewarded,
How long do I have to wait to get this reward?
Seasons are changing,
people are changing.
But for me life eternally seems to move around in circles,
circles of illusions,
circles of destiny.
Life seems like a circle,
things just go round and round and then there is a full stop,
that’s when one dies.
Awful!! Is what I feel when I read what I have written.
Is the poet in me lost somewhere?
Can someone please find him for me, please?

Based on what I have read in this poem you are brilliant and I don't see a block.
Every writer gets blocked at times right?
I liked the way you described your feelings in regards to not being able to write. Very relatable.
You have so much possibility, please never stop writing.
I enjoyed this read very much so.

I feel you, i really do.
I just came out of a months writers block and i hated it.
I hope things work out for you soon. Though, i must say, this poem is great, so i would love to see some when you havent got writers block. lol
