I’ve been sitting here smiling, being nice to everyone
And all of a sudden I’m sour
I’m thinking of you.
I’ve had a day like all the others, nothing bad, nothing good
And now I feel like crying
‘Cause you’ve filtered through.
I thought I was over that, letting the crap crawl in
But somehow it all relates
It relates back to you.
Forgotten the anger that was hidden, I stop smiling when I think of you
And what right have you to smile
When your little girl is bleeding?
Don’t understand how you live with yourself, are there no mirrors
To show you the truth?
Or are you blinded by the fear of seeing?
Don’t be surprised, by all this hate you see
You should know it –
You put it here.
And don’t ever come back, down on your knees
With puppy dog eyes
Whispering please….
