After...

It rushes over me....
something never heard of.
It started with a push...
and ended with a shove.
The bruises will heal...
but they scars will stay,
you attempt to touch me...
and for once I have nothing to say.
Slap after slap,
and glance after glance...
I could have ran...
with chance after chance.
Is he to blame?
Or am I?
Should I have let him abuse me...?
and then have him leave me there to cry?
Tear after tear fell...
but did he care?
If he has feelings of regret,He won't share.

A pretty good poem, I think it really shows the truth about how some relationships can be. |
