Somethings used to make me laugh
and somethings used to make me smile
Now those things have gone away,
I forget the smile on my face
and I'm heading back to where I was
in the first place
Take me up, now put me down
Fill me up and see me drown
throw me out in vain again
and wake me up when it begins
then sometime when it's over
Love me not and feel the rain
of the clouds above your head again
When lightning crashes then you'll run
and my eyes will see the bright lit sun
just one more time so...
Take me up, now put me down
Fill me up and see me drown
throw me out in vain again

then sometime when it's over
Nothing used to make me laugh
and nothing used to make me smile
Now those things have come my way
I remember the smile on my face
and I'm headed back to where I was
in the first place
Fill me up, and break me down
show me up, oppose me now
Hate me now, and love me later
since this day, the guilt you cater
As I say...
Take me up, now put me down
